Meet Our Team
Irina is our primary patient care assistant. She is also certified for limited direct patient care. Patients appreciate her gentle, caring, efficient demeanor. And, we all love her great people skills. Irina gets along well with everyone. She has two wonderful children.
Mariya is our clinical coordinator and a certified dental polishing professional. She has a number of years of clinical experience. Mariya also teaches dental assisting on a part time basis. She is capable, caring and wonderful member of our team. She is married and has two grown children.
Michelle is our hygienist. Karen has many years of experience in dental management. She uses it every day to manage our schedules and coordinate patient care. She is a true expert in helping Smiles of Skokie run smoothly. Karen’s other main role is to help our Dental Family members receive all of the insurance benefits they deserve.
Michelle is our hygienist. She is a University of Michigan graduate. Michelle is trained to use our VELscope for oral cancer screening. She has two siblings and is engaged to be married. She is also a dog owner.
Dr. Dave received his D.D.S from Loyola University School of Dentistry. Prior to that he graduated magna cum laude from DePaul University with a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. Dr. Dave also completed graduate work in microbiology at the University of Illinois Medical Center, a mini-residency in restoration of implants, and five years of continuing education training in basic orthodontics.
Dr. Dave’s professional affiliations include or have included, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The Evanston Association of Dentists, The Conley Study Club, The Chicago Dental Society, The Illinois State Dental Society, and The American Dental Association.
Continuing education is something Dr. Dave believes in very strongly. There’s a good chance his next course is only a few weeks away! He’s married with three children. Dr. Dave is an avid cyclist and prefers a road bike. He also enjoys flying as a microlight aviation pilot, but he can also be found flying paragliders and powered paragliders.
